Jennifer Pesek (Interim Executive Director) received a B.A. from UC Santa Cruz in 1998 and a J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2001 with a certificate in Public Interest Law.  She worked for several years at the East San Jose Community Law Center as both a student and an advocate representing clients seeking assistance with immigration, citizenship, and political asylum.  She joined the Law Center as a Staff Attorney in July 2002.

Anna Leach-Proffer (Staff Attorney) received a B.S. in Human Biology from Michigan State University in 2002 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan in 2005. During law school she worked at Michigan Protection and Advocacy, Inc and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel with a focus on disability rights and healthcare access. She joined the Law Center staff in September 2005 and her work will focus on telecommunications access issues.

Annie-Laurie Porrino (Legal Assistant/Secretary)

received a B.A in Speech Communication from San Francisco State University in 2003. She is currently attending Berkeley Community College working towards an associates degree in American Sign Language.
